Grandpa
He wasn't just called Grandpa
He was Husband, Dad, and Friend.
And those who knew this gentle man
Felt Love that had no end.

He left behind a loving wife
who was always by his side,
Five daughters and a younger son
who filled his life with pride.

And let's not forget the many
that called this man "Grandpa"
who sat and played upon his knee
yet knew his word was law.

He gave us all great memories
He gave us all his Love
And he'll Forever guide us,
as he watches from above.

His smile will never leave us
His soul will linger on
And his laughter will sustain us
seeming like he isn't gone.

So Grandpa, now it's time to rest,
You've done your part down here,
We're all so very proud of you
Please hear that loud and clear.

You'll always be a part of us
In everything we do
We'll cherish all the gifts we have
The Gifts that came from You.
