To My Mom
There aren't a lot of people
who can brag the same as me
About the kind of thing we share
It's special as can be.

A mother and a daughter
Sharing births on the same day
You've been there every year with me
and helped me guide my way.

I haven't haven't always listened
and at times, I did detour
But I always knew your love for me
Would help me to endure.

So I want to take a moment
... and it's long past overdue,
To let you know how much I care
and also ... I Love You!

I'm proud that you're my mother
I love you more each day
And nothing will ever change that
No how - not ever - No Way!
